Ottawa Senators center Tim Stutzle treated hockey fans in Stockholm, Sweden, to one heck of a show during Thursday’s NHL Global Series contest against the Detroit Red Wings, but he saved his best for last.
With the score tied 4-4 and the overtime period nearing its end, the Senators and Red Wings seemed destined to decide things in a shootout. However, with two ticks left on the clock, Stutzle showed off his baseball skills, batting a deflected pass out of mid-air into the back of the net for a thrilling game-winner.
