The ‘Recent MLB World Series managers’ quiz

The last time we saw Ron Washington as an MLB manager was the 2014 season when he was the skipper of the Texas Rangers. Since then, he has served as the third base coach for the Atlanta Braves, including their 2021 World Series-winning campaign. But after a decade away from managing, Washington is back in the AL West, hired by the Los Angeles Angels last week. Wash admittedly has big goals for next season, but they won’t be easy to reach. Reigning MVP Shohei Ohtani is likely gone, and if the crosstown-rival Dodgers have anything to say about it, franchise icon Mike Trout will be too. Still, it’s an exciting hire for the Angels and their fans, as the 71-year-old Wash had an exemplary record when he was the head man in Arlington.

Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Up until this season, Washington had been the last manager to take the Texas Rangers to the World Series, doing so twice in the 2010s. So with that in mind, how many of the last MLB managers to lead every franchise to the World Series can you name in five minutes?

    Good luck!
