With the Kansas City Chiefs playing a home game on Christmas Day against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Mahomes family took their festivities to Arrowhead Stadium. But for Brittany Mahomes, nothing went according to plan.
Brittany and Patrick Mahomes’ daughter, Sterling, couldn’t sit still during the game, causing mischief in the suite while the Chiefs struggled early in the game against the Raiders.
Patrick Mahomes frustrating season continues on Christmas
With his family on hand to watch, Patrick Mahomes did not inspire any Christmas miracles. He finished the game passing 27-for-44 for 235 yards with one touchdown and one interception, a pass intended for Travis Kelce that was returned for a pick six Raiders touchdown in the first half. His single touchdown was too little, too late, as the Chiefs lost to their divisional rivals 20-14.
Kelce finished with just five catches for 44 yards in front of Taylor Swift and her entire family. Mahomes and Kelce appeared fed up with the Chiefs offensive struggles, as they both erupted with anger on the sideline during the course of the loss.
Whether it was wrangling her children or the disappointing game from her husband, there wasn’t much for Brittany Mahomes to be happy about this Christmas. But at least Taylor Swift was there to give Brittany a hug.
