Aaron Rodgers hit back at critics who came at him due to his stance on vaccines

When the global pandemic was at it’s peak, Aaron Rodgers was still playing for the Green Bay Packers and he decided to not get a vaccine. As a result, he received criticism from the press that he considers unfair. He could only feel comfortable talking about this while doing a show with Pat McAfee. When asked about all the backlash he received, Aaron Rodgers argued in his favor. On the same show, he also revealed that the New York Jets over powered him to remain as part of the team despite his injury. A decision that effectively left the squad with one less healthy player But the most controversial statement was about his vaccine stance.

Aaron Rodgers pulls no punches against ESPN

Here’s what Aaron Rodgers said: “Before they talk, let’s go back to 2021 and let’s make people say their vax status to start. That’ll frame all these comments in the right window. Before they say something, let’s have them say, and ESPN is probably going to shut us off here, let’s have them say ‘hey, I’m so-and-so, double vaxxed with Pfizer and triple boosted, and my opinion is this guy is a bad guy because he just wanted to practice and took money away.’ At least then you’d know, and everybody would know at that point, they have their puppet masters who are puppeteering them to say this certain thing about this guy, and they’re still upset about the fact that I believe in medical freedom. It’s the same tired narrative.”

The reason Aaron Rodgers is pointing at ESPN is because he considers they are compromised due to their commercial relationship with big pharma companies. It is also not the first time Rodgers talks about these topics that are directly linked with a subject as touchy as vaccines. In his view, he is defending the right to choose whether you want to get vaccinated. The exact same stance tennis legend Novak Djokovic took. Both of them were chastized for the approach they took.
