What’s Holding India Back From Embracing Ishan Kishan’s Potential? Ex-Star Reveals

Team India’s star batter, Ishan Kishan, has been out of action for a long time. Ishan is currently out of competitive cricket, be it international cricket or domestic cricket, since he asked for a break from the team management while India was touring South Africa.

In a recent interview, Team India’s head coach, Rahul Dravid, was asked about Ishan’s potential return to international cricket,to which he replied that he needed to play competitive cricket before making him eligible for selection.

However, Ishan has refrained from playing any competitive cricket but is practicing with the Pandya brothers at Reliance Stadium.

Now one of the commentators, Aakash Chopra, spoke on his YouTube channel about the curious case of Ishan Kishan, saying that the lack of development in the case of Ishan has made him a bit worried.

The former test opener further spoke, saying that he hopes that everything is going well for Ishan Kishan, as he had sought a break from international cricket, citing mental fatigue.
