Reds player stays in game after being hit in head by 101-mph pitch

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Blake Dunn was hit in the head with a fastball on Tuesday night, but the frightening play somehow did not chase him from the game.

The Reds were trailing 5-3 with two outs in the bottom of the ninth when Cleveland Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase drilled Dunn in the helmet with a 101-mph fastball. Dunn briefly went to his knees before casually tossing his bat, removing his elbow pad, and walking down to first base.
