During the OG podcast with Larry Wheels and Ryan Benston, Von Moger hinted at a potential return to competitive bodybuilding in 2025.

Despite encountering numerous obstacles, Von Moger‘s passion for the sport remains undiminished. The 33-year-old elaborated on his route back to bodybuilding, revealing his plans to aim for the Classic Physique title in 2025. He explained how the introduction of the Classic Physique category was a perfect fit for him.

“That was going to be my goal,” Von Moger said. “It was either bodybuilding or physique. Then they came out with Classic, and I was like, this is perfect.”

Von Moger‘s path has not been easy. Although he secured his Pro Card at the 2020 NPC Universe, he has not competed recently. This year, he resumed training and found joy in the process.

A visit to the doctor revealed he had low testosterone levels, leading him to start testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

    Plans for the future

Although Von Moger is not planning to compete in 2024, he acknowledges that it could be possible if his physique is ready.

His current focus is on enjoying his training and re-engaging with the social aspects of the bodybuilding community.

He emphasized the all-encompassing nature of bodybuilding, which requires meticulous attention to sleep, diet, training, and recovery.

“So there’s just so much that you can pack into your day just for bodybuilding,” he noted.
