While UFC 303 made history without him, Conor McGregor appeared to be up for anything… except a fight with Michael Chandler. He randomly appeared on a side quest in Switzerland, traversing a dangerous bridge with low visibility near the top of a mountain in the Alps in a spooky video that got under fans’ skin.

McGregor cackled loudly in front of the camera as he walked across the hanging bridge to reach the peak of the mountain, but UFC fans were not so excited to see his daredevil activities outside of the Octagon.
“So we can climb mountains but can’t fight?” asked an annoyed fan in the top comment on the Instagram video posted by the Irishman.
Why did McGregor pull out of Chandler fight?
McGregor was scheduled to make his long-awaited return to MMA on June 29 at UFC 303 against Chandler, but he pulled out due to a toe injury.
UFC 303 still delivered an exciting event, headlined by a knockout win from Alex Pereira. The event also made headlines with an impressive gate total of $15.9 million, making it the fourth-highest gate collection in UFC history.
McGregor’s deleted tweets about UFC 303
McGregor expressed his frustration while watching the “novices” go at it in his stead. In a now-deleted social media post, he wrote the following: “I’m beyond angry here f***ing raaaaaaaattttttttssssss.”
“I am f***ing livid f***ing novice f***ing hums. Here is a tip for dealing with novices just leave them in a coma before they infest their noviceness upon you. Leave novices comatose to save your own mental health or suffer dire.”
However mad he was on Saturday night (early Sunday morning in Europe), he blew off the steam quickly. Less than 12 hours later, he posted a video on top of a mountain in the Swiss Alps. Despite his venomous tweets, his hurt pinky toe and the perilous situation he was in, McGregor came off as though he didn’t have a worry in the world.
