After news surfaced that Aurora Culpo was dating Paul Bernon, her sister Olivia Culpo shared some intriguing details about her wedding guest list. The American model explained why she decided not to let her sister bring her new boyfriend to her wedding.
Olivia, who married NFL star Christian McCaffrey on Saturday, discussed the situation on a recent episode of the Barely Filtered podcast, recorded before the wedding. She revealed that her sister’s new partner was not invited, something the Aurora found rude.

“No, [it’s] rude to invite somebody I’ve never met,” Olivia said.
The reason behind her decision
When Aurora suggested bringing her friend, Olivia dismissed him as the flavor of the month. She emphasized that her decision was not a personal slight against him but was more about her sister’s relationship patterns.
“Sorry, it’s not a reflection of you,” she noted. “It’s a reflection of my sister.”
Although the Culpo sisters did not mention Paul Bernon by name during the podcast, Us Weekly reported in June that Aurora had been dating Bethenny Frankel‘s ex-fiance for the past two months.
The report noted that both Aurora and Bernon have connections to the Boston area, sharing common ground that has strengthened their bond. Initially, it was believed that Bernon would attend Olivia and McCaffrey‘s wedding ceremony.
Aurora clarified during the podcast that her boyfriend was only invited to spend time with the Culpo family the day before the rehearsal dinner, not at the actual wedding.
