Patrick Mahomes ignores Chiefs and confirms his presence at F1's British GP… and will not be alone

The next NFL season for Kansas City Chiefs will start against Baltimore Raven in September. Meanwhile, most players enjoy their vacations traveling around the world with their family or friends to disconnect of the stress they have to deal with.

This year’s British Grand Prix will be full of celebrities that do not want to miss the 75th anniversary of the Silverstone race, one of the oldest races on the Formula 1 history. Patrick Mahomes is the last one to confirm his attendance to this event and will be joined by his family.

The football star will be traveling through Europe this summer and obviously did not want to miss the opportunity to watch this popular event. He is also one of the stakeholders of the French squad Alpine. Therefore, a trip to visit Alpine’s motorhome and to meet Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly is more than probable. Him and Travis Kelce invested $220M for a 24% stake in Alpine last year.

The quarterback is also expected to be at the Wimbledon arena to keep exploring different sports while he is on vacation.

    Interest to see Alpine performing

Since the arrival of Flavio Briatore back to the team, Mahomes is probably interested to check if his investment has been shaping up. The italian businessman made a return to F1 in official capacity after Alpine appointed him as their new Executive Advisor.

The civil war between Ocon and Gastly is not helping to forget the bad season Alpine is having. To be placed on the 9th position shows that the results they have been getting are not even close to their desires at the beginning of the competition, were they aimed to be at least top-5 positioned. Mahomes and Kelce must solve this issue if they aim to put Alpine where they want it to be.
