India’s star all-rounder – Hardik Pandya – has been replaced as the ICC Men’s T20 all-rounder after he was rested for the ongoing Zimbabwe tour. Pandya, who shared the top spot with the Sri Lankan T20 captain Wanindu Hasaranga after the T20 World Cup 2024, has now slipped to second position.
Hardik Pandya’s reign at the top was brief, lasting just six days despite delivering sensational all-round performances at the recently concluded World Cup in the USA and the West Indies. The Indian side was triumphant due to the significant contribution of the vice-captain who capped an excellent tournament with the bat by scoring a total of 144 runs at a strike rate of 151.57, and with the ball he took 11 wickets at a superb economy rate of 7.64.
Hardik was dislodged from the top-spot after losing nine rating points in the latest standings, while Hasaranga has reappraised his 222. Marcus Stoinis is on third with 211, followed by Sikandar Raza and Shakib Al Hasan.

Axar Patel, India’s top-ranked T20 bowler, was downgraded by two spots, now sitting 9th in the rankings representing India, while Kuldeep Yadav felt a world of hurt in the rankings after regressing three spots, now down at 11.
The champion of Player of the Tournament award at the T20 World Cup 2024, find the place of the disoriented 14th position. Meanwhile, the top wicket-taker at the competition Arshdeep Singh has moved five places to sit 18th overall.
