Manchester United’s official TV channel was forced to cut away from an interview after accidentally revealing the club’s new third kit.
The Red Devils played Rangers in a friendly on Saturday, beating the Scottish side 2-0.
MUTV were interviewing supporters after the game to get their thoughts on the friendly victory.
And one of the chats aired was with a fan wearing an unseen white Man United kit.
It had red and black stripes across the middle, the old adidas logo and the club’s official sponsor Snapdragon.
Mid-way through the interview, interviewer Zarah Connolly cut the fan off mid-response, thanking him for his time and rapidly moving on to find someone else.
The camera quickly panned away from the fan before he could respond.
Many Red Devils supporters on social media believe the white strip is their side’s third kit for the upcoming campaign, and that’s why the interview was shut down.
The strip hasn’t been released by the club yet.
And fans are left baffled as to how the fan in the interview has got his hands on one.
Amad Diallo and Joe Hugill both got on the scoresheet against Rangers.
Speaking about bouncing back from the 1-0 defeat to Rosenborg, manager Erik ten Hag said: “Pre-season is friendlies and I want to win every game so I was very disappointed on Monday, especially with the performance. That is even more important in pre-season – the performance.
“You want to grow and that is what we have seen today in comparison with Monday, which was a low standard. Today was much better, especially in the prospect of aggressiveness, which was much better.
“We were much more on the front foot and it was a team [effort] in both halves so, yeah, it was enjoyable to watch.”
Ten Hag’s side will then get their campaign underway when they take on rivals Manchester City in the Community Shield on August 10.
