Noah Lyles had his ups and downs during the Olympic Games, he won the 100m Gold Medal in a dramatic performance and he won brone during the 200m team final while infected with Covid. But for Lyles, none of that struggle he may haev suffered compares to what his girlfriend and fellow olympian Junelle Bromfield has suffered all her life. On an August 17 post, Lyles wrote a beautiful message for his girlfriend through Instagram. He was really sweet and wrote a message that proes he is madly in love with her. Bromfield also competed in the Paris Olympic Games but she wasn’t able to win a medal this time around. She has won in previous tournaments but she wasn’t lucky this time.

Amid her loss, there were many Jaimaican country people who came after her on social media to bully her. This couple has been together since 2022 and they are still gong strong. On Wednesday, they Lyles was a guest on the Today Show and said this about his girlfriend: “She’s been running since she was 8 years old, making teams for Jamaica. She’s very talented in her own right, she ran at the Olympics this year in the open 400-meter, and I’m so proud of her, of course, she’s a survivor, she’s a fighter, she’s savvy – as my mom would say, she has bounce-back-ability, no matter what happens, she’ll be able to get up and come back. Those are similar qualities I find myself that I think we relate to.”
What happened to Junelle Bromfield?
Not winning another Olympic medal for Jamaica brought out the worst in people who were initially praising Junelle Bromfield started harassing her online. For that, boyfriend Noah Lyles wrote the following message: “Just want to say how incredibly proud I am of my GF and give her the flowers she deserves now. She has been through so much in her life that I could never imagine fighting through. Beyond that she is a survivor, 2x Olympian, Olympic medalists, Multi world championship medalist, and has been representing Jamaica on the world stage since she was 8 years old. But the most impressive thing I’ve seen recently is how she’s dealt with the pure disrespect and hatred towards her from her own country. This woman has been attacked by people who have never met her, heard her name before, never seen her smile, or heard what she believes in. But she keeps moving forward knowing that God will always make a way. Thats why God keeps blessing her!”
