Despite Matt LaFleur's wishful thinking Jordan Love won't be preparing for the upcoming Packers game

Even if head coach Matt LaFleur is not saying that Jordan Love won’t play this Sunday when the Green Bay Packers play against the Indianapolis Colts, everything points exactly to him not being on the field as a result of a sprained medial collateral ligament, one of the four that keep the knee joint stable,

Love injured his leg during the final minutes of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles last Friday night, it was initially estimated that he would miss three to six weeks. Now everything indicates that at least the first of those mentioned weeks.

According to reports, the Packers are preparing Malik Willis by working him “around the clock” for the Colts and this one is becoming a must win for them, as they dropped the opener in Brazil; Indianapolis also lost their first game of the season.

Wishing for only one missed game

According to head coach Matt LaFleur, the Green Bay Packers will not place Jordan Love on Injured Reserve, which would immediately rule out the quarterback for the next four weeks.

In other words, it is a sign that they have the hope of being able to recover it within the next three games or, at the latest, the month, if not sooner but that seems highly unlikely, but everything seems to indicate that Love will not make it on time for Week 2 of the 2024 Season.

Everything points out that Love should be back for the second half of the year, when in Week 8, the Packers visit the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 27, hopefully the Packers will still be in contention.
