Excitement is building as the official release of EA FC 25 draws ever closer.
While the majority will wait until 27 September to get their hands on the new game, pre-orderers can begin their respective journeys a week in advance on 20 September.
It’s a big second year for EA Sports after their departure from FIFA, but their new flagship game remains immensely popular among those with a passion for Ultimate Team, an addiction to Career Mode and an unhealthy obsession with Pro Clubs.
Once again, there’s something for everybody in EA FC 25 and the burgeoning youngsters with heaps of potential are always going to catch a gamer’s eye – especially those tasked with putting the ball in the back of the net.
With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the best young strikers aged 23 or under in EA FC 25 – from confirmed ratings and rumours.
There is a glut of elite-level forwards, including the 91-rated Erling Haaland, who just exceed the Under-23 threshold. In fact, there are no 80+-rated male strikers in EA FC 25 – discounting those with an alternate position.
The highest-rated U23 striker in the game is Lyon Feminin’s gifted 21-year-old Melchie Dumornay, whose 92 pace will undoubtedly intrigue a few keen on breaking in behind at will. Her Lyon teammate Vicki Becho is a 79, while Real Madrid Feminino’s Naomie Feller is rated an 80. The Frenchwoman is another exciting forward option for Ultimate Team users given her searing speed and impressive ball-striking.
There are five familiar names who sit atop the highest-rated male striker table at 79 – the majority of whom will be expected upgrades in a year’s time should they continue on their respective trajectories. Benjamin Sesko is among the highest-regarded forwards in the sport, while Joshua Zirkzee thrust himself into the limelight after joining Manchester United.
21-year-old Rasmus Hojlund, Zirkzee’s Man Utd teammate, is a 78-rated card.
Santiago Gimenez, Goncalo Ramos and Brian Brobbey are the other 79-rated forwards, with Maximilian Beier enjoying a healthy upgrade from a 70 to a 78 off the back of his prolific season with Hoffenheim last time out. He’s since joined Borussia Dortmund.
There’s WSL representation in the form of Aston Villa’s Ebony Salmon (78), while Freiburg Frauen’s Svenja Folmli (78), Houston Dash’s Diana Ordóñez (77) and Brazil international Luany (77) also make the top 20.
Real Madrid sensation Endrick has the TB12 mentality and is destined for great things. His first EA FC card is a humble 77-rated non-rare, but he’s one to watch for a mid-season upgrade. Youssoufa Moukoko matches Endrick’s 77 and he’s aiming to ignite his senior career out on loan at Nice this season. While Moukouko will be a popular choice for Ligue 1 starter teams, Ultimate Team users will surely turn to 19-year-old Mathys Tel as their striker option for Bundesliga-inspired XIs following the game’s release.
