It’s been an up-and-down couple of seasons for New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo thanks to various long-term injuries. But the veteran came through with two critical RBI’s along with several key defensive plays on Wednesday to help the Yankees clinch a spot in the 2024 MLB playoffs. Rizzo has played strong defense since returning from the injured list this year despite hitting just .219 with 33 RBIs and eight home runs in 85 games. But he’s an experienced hitter with 203 playoff at-bats, and he knows a thing or two about ending World Series droughts – just ask the Chicago Cubs.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. The Yankees missed the playoffs in 2023, extending their own World Series drought to 14 years. Despite the other star power in the Bronx, Rizzo could be the key to getting New York back to the Fall Classic for the first time since 2009. With that being said, can you name the active MLB players with the most RBIs in their career?
Good luck!
