Watch: Hawks’ Zaccharie Risacher sets career-high during first half vs. Knicks

After struggling with efficiency through his first eight games in the NBA, Atlanta Hawks forward Zaccharie Risacher looked far more comfortable to begin Wednesday’s home matchup against the New York Knicks.

Risacher, who Atlanta selected No. 1 overall in this past June’s draft, scored a career-high 22 points in the first half on 8-of-11 shooting from the field and 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. Additionally, Risacher racked up three rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals to help send the Hawks into halftime with a 65-61 lead.

The Frenchman opened the scoring in the contest, knocking down a 25-foot three-point jump shot, but did most of his damage in the second quarter, posting 16 points in the period.
