Jennifer Lopez shared a very emotional moment on the episode that aired on Friday, November 8, of The Graham Norton Show, in which she was reunited with a fan she had met the day before the show was filmed, PEOPLE reported.
The surprise meeting came after JLo, who was in the UK promoting her new film Unstoppable, spoke about the cancellation of her This Is Me… Live tour, and recalled a sweet interaction she had had the day before.
“I would like to apologize to the fans, because I know that many of them had already bought tickets,” JLo said on the show. “I actually saw fans that really moved me when I left the hotel yesterday said, ‘I had tickets to go see you,’ and I said, ‘I’m so sorry’ and he said, ‘don’t apologize. We love you.’ I started crying right away.”

Then, a man in the audience shouted to JLo that he was the fan she had spoken to the day before, to which she responded: “Was that you?! Oh my God,” as she pointed at him.
Without thinking, JLo got up from her seat, walked over to her follower and hugged him, looking excited as they hugged while the fan seemed to reassure her a little more.
After hugging him, Jennifer said: “I got in the car and literally cried. Honestly, it was really hard for me to cancel and I’ve never done it before. I’m sorry.”
To which her admirer replied: “I understand, JLo, we understand,” to which Lopez replied: “Okay, okay.” The pair hugged one last time before Lopez returned to her seat.
“I love my fans, oh my God,” added the pop star.
JLo was present on the British show alongside such great figures as Dwayne Johnson, Lucy Liu and Kate Winslet.
Shortly before this scene, the Unstoppable star had discussed the decision to cancel her tour to spend the summer with her children, 16-year-old twins Max and Emme.
“I decided to take this summer off and be at home with the kids and I think it was the best thing I’ve ever done in my life,” JLo said on the couch. “It’s not like me to do that.”
Jennifer announced the cancellation of her tour in May, sharing in a statement on her OntheJLo website at the time that she was “taking some time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”
The cancellation of the tour came amid reports of divorce from Ben Affleck, 52, after JLo officially filed for divorce on August 20, after two years of marriage.
