The narrative is convenient even if the answer to her ‘kind’ request is no. Ben Affleck could refuse to spend the holidays alongside Jennifer Lopez, who is doing everything possible to get together with the actor, producer and businessman and the children she has with Mark Anthony and those he has with Jennifer Garner.

But what is JLo’s necessity for this to happen? It is well known that the actress and singer want the children of both to feel loved by their closest environment, but given the circumstances of the divorce that has cost them, blood, sweat and tears, this ‘noble’ reasoning looks a bit weird.
Affleck wants to keep distance, JLo does not
Affleck has reportedly gone out of his way to distance himself from his ex and give her space amid the personal crisis they are experiencing, but reports from ‘ShwKnows‘ claim that JLo is determined that both Affleck and Garner and their children spend the holidays with her and her twins.
The position in which JLo is placing Affleck and Garner is really uncomfortable, because if they give in, it would be reluctantly and above all, doubting their intentions; while if they do not, they could be accused by Lopez of being the ‘bad guys in the story’.
Is nostalgia taking over JLo or is there something else going on?
