Watch Nepal star Suffer a massive freak injury

During the U-19 Asia Cup competition against Bangladesh, Nepal cricket team cricketer Yuvraj Khatri suffered a freak injury. Young Yuvraj played an exceptional role in the match, taking four wickets but later turning from joys into sorrows for injuring himself while celebrating a wicket. During the match, Yuvraj first imitated South African cricketer Tabraiz Shamsi’s shoe celebration and ran doing the same celebration as Imran Tahir does for his fourth wicket. However, while running, he slipped on his left foot and fell down on the ground. He had to be dragged out of the pitch ground by fellow team members while Nepal lost the match when Bangladesh chased the target down with five wickets aside.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Amaan’s splendid century went unbroken while KP Karthikeya and opening batsman Ayush Mhatre added fifties to give India a comfortable victory of 211 runs against minnows Japan.

Amaan scored an unbeaten 122 and 118 balls, only seven boundaries compiled that score on a day India was invited to bat.

Besides Amaan, Karthikeya made a 57-ball 49 off 49 balls with the help of five fours and one max, while Mhatre sizzled through his successful 29-ball 54, including six boundaries and four over-the-fence hits.

C Andre Siddarth (38), Hardik Raj (25 not out), and Vaibhav Suryavanshi (23) also contributed important runs to see India post a mammoth 339 for 6 in their 50 overs.

Hugo Kelly (2/42) and Kiefer Yamamoto-Lake (2/84) took two wickets each for Japan.

After taking two wickets early on in the day, Kelly came back to become Japan’s top-scorer with a tough 50 off 111 balls. Charles Hinze remained unbeaten on 35.

For India, Karthikeya (2/21), Hardik Raj (2/9), and Chetan Sharma (2/14) shared six wickets between them.

India lost its tournament opener against arch-rivals Pakistan by 43 runs.

India now takes on the United Arab Emirates in its last group game on Wednesday.

The last date for payment (entry into the semifinals) is December 6, with the final due to take place two days later, on December 8.
