India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma is having a torrid time in the ongoing second Test against the Australia National Cricket Team. The pink-ball game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is taking place at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, which commenced on Friday (6th December).
After the India National Cricket Team got all out for 180 runs, pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj are putting hard yards. The duo has bowled impeccable lines and lengths and has troubled the Australia National Cricket Team with lights slowly coming into effect.
With the kind of bowling that they have displayed, India National Cricket Team would’ve had the wicket of opener Nathan McSweeney. But the opportunity was spilled by the India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma as well as the keeper-batter Rishabh Pant.
On the third ball of the 7th over, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a short length on off to which Nathan McSweeney had to play. The ball left him late and took the outside edge but to Rishabh Pant’s right. The keeper-batter went with an outstretched right hand and on the dive and got a fingertip.
With his little touch, the ball ricocheted and hit Rohit on the hand as the India National Cricket Team skipper was left wincing in pain. Had Rishabh Pant not attempted it, the ball would’ve got straight into the hand of the captain at first slip.

Rohit Sharma was back in the hut for just 3 runs as he batted at No.6
Rohit Sharma,so far, has been having a poor time in the game. The India National Cricket Team skipper sacrificed his opening spot for the KL Rahul and batted down the order at No.6. But the move didn’t pay off for him.
Rohit Sharma was back in the hut for just 3 runs. Not only the skipper, entire India National Cricket Team didn’t have a great outing with the bat. They got all out for 180 runs with Nitish Kumar Reddy being the pick of the batters with his score of 42 runs.
Skipper Rohit Sharma would be hoping to make solid comeback and help his team win the game. He would be under pressure to score runs as since the last few innings, he has looked torrid with the bat.
