NFL fans suggest the league should drop all connections to Jay-Z after the music personality was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in a lawsuit at one of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs‘ notorious parties.
If you’ve been under a rock for the last 12 months, Diddy has been accused of multiple countless of physical, sexual and emotional abuse against over 100 people, including minors, at his freak-off parties.
They consisted of drug-fuelled days long sessions of sex, with people forced to participate against their will, with the evidence damning enough that Combs was arrested by Homeland Security, charged in New York and denied bail.
Although he claims he is innocent, the story has not gone away and particularly one aspect of it that relates to a woman saying she was raped by Combs and an unknown celebrity, whilst a woman watched.
The then-13-year-old said the incident took place following the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000 and now NBC reports that the civil lawsuit also names Jay-Z through his trueborn name of Shawn Carter.
As a result, fans of the NFL recommend that the league cuts ties to Carter’s Roc Nation, which has been responsible for putting on the famous Super Bowl Half-Time Show since 2020.
One user wrote to X.com, formerly Twitter, “The NFL needs to comment on the situation at a minimum. Can’t hide from it.”
A second commented, “They have to [cut ties].”
And a third added, “The NFL needs to make a statement about Jay Z. “Social Justice” should include making sure minors aren’t raped.”
Jay Z denies the claims
Carter released a statement via X.com and through the Roc Nation account that denies all of the claims against his name as he accuses the attorney who filed the lawsuit of being a “fraud” and challenged him to make it criminal action.
“My lawyer received a blackmail attempt,” Roc Nation posted. “Called a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.
“No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are.”
Carter later told NBC News: “These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whoever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.
“My heart and support goes out to true victims in the world, who have to watch how their life story is dressed in costume for profitability by this ambulance chaser in a cheap suit.”
