Jennifer Lopez is a “free woman”. The powerhouse singer/actress has only just finalized her separation from Ben Affleck, but rumors and speculation have pointed toward a new romance in the offing for J.Lo.
A recent vacation to winter hotspot Aspen, Colorado saw Lopez rub shoulders with more of the rich and famous — not that Lopez is hurting in that sense in spite of her recent divorce from “Argo” star Affleck. Lopez’s net worth has been estimated at roughly $400 million, and for her next romance, she will be looking for more the perks and “finer things” offered to her when she dated Drake and Alex Rodriguez.
Will Lopez hard-launch her next relationship?
In recent weeks, Lopez has been linked strongly with decorated actor and Hollywood titan Kevin Costner, whose film credits include “The Untouchables“, “Field of Dreams“, “Dances with Wolves“, and the planned “Horizon” series of Western films. Costner, who turns 70 years old this week, was spotted around Lopez, 55, in Aspen last month — and J.Lo’s friends are reportedly encouraging her to pursue a relationship.
“J.Lo expressed her love of (the TV show) ‘Yellowstone’, as well as her disappointment over Kevin‘s departure, and he was hugely flattered,” an insider revealed of Lopez’s first meeting with Costner, two days after Christmas. “She was quick to let him know she adores ‘Horizon’, too, which went a long way to stroke his ego.”
Though Lopez has just seen her fourth marriage crumble, she has always seemed comfortable existing amidst tabloid speculation and her popularity with the paparazzi. And the report that Lopez‘s friends are encouraging her to take things to the “next level” will surely serve as a shot in the arm for the “Let’s Get Loud” singer.
“Timing is everything, so there’s certainly a chance these two could make a go of it,” the insider told Life and Style of a potential romance between Lopez and Costner.
