The 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season begins on Friday at Daytona International Speedway. Here are the most intriguing races on the 2025 Truck Series schedule:
4. Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona, Feb. 14
Daytona will always be the most prestigious race on any NASCAR schedule, and that’s the case for the Truck Series. The Truck Series race at Daytona is usually the most carnage and crash-filled race of the weekend, leaving the winner feeling like they just won a demolition derby in addition to a NASCAR race. This race also serves as a chance for an underdog to shake up the playoff picture early in the season.
3. Charlotte ROVAL, Oct. 3
Not only will this be the first time the Truck Series will have raced on the Charlotte ROVAL since the track was first used in 2018, but the race will also serve as the opening race of the penultimate round of the Truck Series playoffs. Road courses always throw an extra wrinkle into the postseason, and that will be the case with the Truck Series as well.
2. Lime Rock Park, June 28
Speaking of the Truck Series traveling to road courses for the first time, Lime Rock Park also makes its debut on the Truck Series schedule. The 1.5-mile road course in Salisbury, Connecticut, will be a complete unknown for most, if not all, of the field. The race’s placement on the schedule is also interesting: it slots in as the fourth-to-last race of the regular season, right when the chase for the final few playoff spots will be ramping up.
1. Rockingham, April 18
The Truck Series will return to “The Rock’” for the first time since 2013. Poor attendance was the death knell for Rockingham’s first attempt at a permanent return, and the stars of the Truck Series are hoping to attract a crowd good enough to keep Rockingham as a fixture on the schedule. On a weekend when the Cup Series won’t be racing, the Truck Series and Xfinity Series will take center stage.
