Axar Patel drops a massive statement on Rohit Sharma’s catch drop says…

After Rohit Sharma dropped the catch on him, Axar Patel believes that the latter was robbed of a wonderful opportunity for a hat-trick on his 50-over ICC mega event debut, considering it all to be a “part of the game”.

While speaking during the mid-innings break, the left-arm spinner said it would be easy for India to chase down the target, given that the surface was getting easier to bat on.

“I was really happy about the wickets. I didn’t hear the edge on the first wicket. Rahul did-heard it. Definitely, I heard a noise going on the second wicket. I thought Rohit had taken the catch, but he did not. That’s the part of the game, and I have not thought about it after that. I can’t say; I think it could be over soon had we got the third wicket. The wicket has got better to bat on and this is definitely a chasable score,” said Axar Patel.

“The ball is coming on the bat slightly slower than we would have expected. I’m happy to contribute in any position. It feels nice to be trusted by the team, and I’m happy to bat anywhere,” he added.
