Justin Timberlake has expressed his support for his friend and golf legend Tiger Woods as the 49-year-old continues his recovery from his latest injury setback. The American singer and actor took to social media to share a video of himself on a plane making an impressive putt.
Tiger Woods sustained a ruptured Achilles tendon earlier this month as he ramped up his workload in an attempt to return to the PGA Tour this season. Timberlake, who is a big golf lover, captioned the video:. “We love you, Big 
!!! Get well soon!” The video included an audio clip of Gary Koch’s famous “Better than most!” call from Woods’ iconic win at the 2001 Players Championship.
Timberlake and Woods have a close relationship that goes beyond their love for golf. Both of them have partnered in different businesses such as a high-end sports and entertainment bar in New York City. They also co-own a business called T-Squared Social. Timberlake also revealed that he and Woods bonded over sharing their experience of fatherhood. His tribute to the injured golfer further emphasizes their respect and support for one another.
Woods In Good Shape After Recovering From Surgery
Former world No. 1, Tiger Woods underwent surgery after the injury and is currently recovering. However, it is unclear yet when the 49-year-old would return to action. Messages of support have been pouring in for Woods and he can count on friends like Timberlake as he continues his journey to a return to golf.
While Woods’ fans and fellow golfers will be eagerly awaiting his return to the course, sources have revealed that he is in great shape and looking forward to returning to action. Woods has battled several injuries in the last few years. However, injury isn’t the only challenge he has battled this year. He was due to compete at the Genesis Invitational in February but the death of his mother forced him to withdraw from the tournament.
The legendary golfer is no stranger to setbacks and has shown great desire to return to the course in the past. Woods made a remarkable recovery from injuries and off-course controversies to win the 2019 Masters in astonishing fashion-his first title in 11 years.
The 49-year-old is widely regarded by many as the best golfer of all time. He boasts of 82 PGA tour wins, matching the all-time record of Sam Snead, and he has also 15 major championships, being only Jack Nicklaus who has 18. While Woods’ hopes of winning the Masters this year are all but over, he would be hoping to return in time as he continues chasing Jack Nicklaus championship haul. We’ll definitely see Timberlake cheering him on.
