Ndidi wanted by three Premier League clubs as Leicester release clause revealed

Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli also have Ndidi on their radar although are yet to make any approach.

The 28-year-old is available for £8m less than the reported £17m that Leicester paid for him midway through the 2016/17 season.

Ndidi made his 300th appearance for the club on Saturday in their 3-0 Premier League defeat to Wolves.

However, it followed the confirmation of his second relegation at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester, as well as Southampton and Ipswich Town, will make an instant return to the Championship for the 2025/26 campaign.

Ndidi has had previous interest from Manchester United and Aston Villa having become one of the best midfielders outside the ‘Big Six’.

Former Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers insisted he was worth more than £50m in 2022, a much higher fee compared to his clause.

The Nigerian international has a contract at the club until 2027 but could be set for an earlier departure this summer.

Ndidi is an FA Cup, Community Shield and Championship title winner with Leicester and would leave with fond memories.

However, he could be part of a squad overhaul this summer in search of a Premier League return.

Jamie Vardy has already confirmed that he will be leaving at the end of the season after a legendary 13-year spell.

talkSPORT understands the striker already has offers from the clubs in MLS after Leicester failed to offer him a new deal.

It is also understood Ruud van Nistelrooy will be sacked this summer.

Former England interim boss Lee Carsley is a contender to replace him, as well as ex-Southampton manager Russell Martin.

Also on the shortlist are Sheffield Wednesday’s Danny Rohl and Cesc Fabregas, who manages Serie A side Como.
