Kevin Stefanski shows no commitment to Shedeur Sanders, and Dillon Gabriel could cross his way again

The quarterback drama inside the Cleveland Browns locker room continues, with Kevin Stefanski handing out more starts – but still refusing to commit. A loss is always tough to swallow, and that’s exactly what happened after the harsh reality check against the San Francisco 49ers.

Brock Purdy does the bougie to celebrate beating Shedeur Sanders and the Browns

It’s no secret that the QB position continues to torment the head coach, even after Shedeur Sanders has finally gotten his shot in the NFL. From everything we’ve seen, Stefanski is not willing to publicly declare Deion Sanders’ son as his QB1 for the rest of the season.

Stefanski wants no part of the controversy

In Week 14, the Browns host the Tennessee Titans, and Stefanski confirmed that Shedeur Sanders will start again – marking his third straight game under center.

However, when directly asked if Shedeur would be the starter for the remainder of the season, he flat-out refused to answer.

“I’m not going to get into all of that other than to say we all just have to play better,” Stefanski said in his press conference.

Stefanski has chosen to announce his starting quarterback week-to-week with extreme caution and mystery – never tying himself to Shedeur the way he once did with Dillon Gabriel, whom he openly declared his QB1 earlier in the year.

Shedeur Sanders is now the third different quarterback to lead Cleveland’s offense this season. Despite showing flashes of brilliance in three games (two starts), there is still zero long-term commitment to him at the position.

The truth is that the former Colorado star has quickly become a fan favorite, and most supporters believe the offense looks noticeably better with him running it.

Shedeur Sanders completes another spectacular play for the Browns, but it’s not enough to prevent a loss

For now, the soap opera continues – and we’ll have to wait and see how it ends, because one thing is clear: Kevin Stefanski is not getting the results that will allow him to keep his job much longer.
