First launched in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y in response to the rabid consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is all about radical generosity. Below, we’ve shared a few cycling-related places where you can give, if you so wish. You can make direct donations to the charity or make them through a brand’s checkout when buying gear.

Outride Launches Holiday Auction of Limited-Edition Roubaix Bikes
Outride will auction six custom-painted S-Works Outride Roubaix SL8 bikes starting December 2, with proceeds supporting the nonprofit’s cycling programs. Only 40 of these individually numbered bikes exist, each featuring hand-painted frames.
The auction supports Outride’s research-based programs that use cycling to improve brain health, focus, and social connections. The organization’s initiatives, including its Riding for Focus school program, reach over 50,000 people annually across 400+ schools in the U.S. and Canada.
Since 2014, Outride has invested more than $10 million in bikes, equipment, and community programs to expand cycling access nationwide. The available auction sizes include 49, 52, 54, 56, 58, and 61cm frames, with bidding opening at 12:15 AM PST on December 2.
Donations to Outride are welcome but not required to bid. Donations do not enter participants to win a bike; bidding is the only entry method.
Chalenged Athlete Foundation: Matching Donations Dollar for Dollar
The Challenged Athletes Foundation is running a holiday donation campaign with dollar-for-dollar matching to support athletes with physical disabilities through equipment, training, and mentorship programs.

The Conservation Lands Foundation, based in Durango, Colorado, works to protect and expand the National Conservation Lands system through education, advocacy, and partnerships with organizations like Patagonia Action Works.

World Bicycle Relief
World Bicycle Relief is currently running a donation matching campaign to provide bicycles to communities in need. The organization has distributed over 930,000 Buffalo Bicycles across Africa, Colombia, and Sri Lanka over its 20-year history, targeting students, healthcare workers, and entrepreneurs who typically travel long distances on foot.

PeopleForBikes focuses on infrastructure development, policy advocacy, and community participation to improve cycling conditions across the United States. The organization rates over 1,500 cities annually on bike network quality and has helped secure billions in funding for cycling infrastructure through ballot measures and federal lobbying efforts.
