A LeBron James streak dating back more than 18 games officially came to an end on Thursday.
James, 40, had scored 10 points or more in 1,297 games … until Wednesday, when he was held to only eight points in 36 minutes on 4-17 shooting from the field.
Despite James’ historically sub-par performance, the Lakers beat the Toronto Raptors 123-120 after James dished out the game-winning assist to Rui Hachimura, who hit a buzzer-beating three. The win improves Los Angeles’ record to 15-5 and keeping the Lakers in second place in the Western Conference.
