“Hate everything here” – Current WWE champion expresses frustration

A current WWE champion has expressed her frustration after the turn of events on this week’s episode of NXT. The reigning Women’s North American Champion, Blake Monroe, wasn’t happy after the show.

Monroe issued an open challenge for her title on this week’s WWE NXT. Several superstars from the NXT locker room tried their best to answer the open challenge in hopes of dethroning Monroe, only for Thea Hail to ambush the champion. Hail applied the kimura lock on Monroe, forcing her to tap. However, the title didn’t change hands, as the match never officially began.

On X (fka Twitter), Monroe expressed her frustration after a rough night and claimed that she hated everything around the NXT locker room.

    “Hate everything here,” Monroe wrote.

Toni Storm is a fan of WWE Superstar Blake Monroe

Toni Storm and Blake Monroe, the real-life Mariah May, have a significant history with each other. In 2023, May debuted in AEW as Storm’s superfan and allied with her.

In June 2024, Monroe (May) participated and won the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. With the win, she earned herself a shot at Storm’s AEW Women’s World Championship at All In. Moments after her emphatic win, Monroe (May) betrayed Storm and turned heel. At Revolution 2025, Monroe (May) failed to defeat Storm in a “Hollywood Ending” Falls Count Anywhere Match. She eventually departed AEW in May.

Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Storm spoke about May and said that she was glad to have banished the former AEW Women’s World Champion. However, she claimed to be a fan of Monroe. Storm said:

“She’s the single most evil, cold hearted b**ch I ever met in my life. I’m glad I banished her… I really did compromise her to a permanent end. I’m a big fan of that Blake Monroe.”

Monroe became the WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion at Halloween Havoc by defeating Zaria, who represented the injured Sol Ruca.
