Ortlieb’s Cyber Line of Bags and Packs Pops with Attention-Grabbing Colors

Cyber Monday and Cyber Week may be behind us, but Ortlieb has just announced its new Cyber Line. It has nothing to do with online shopping discounts near the holidays. Instead, the name refers to a limited capsule collection of the brand’s popular bike packs and bags in new “cyber” colors. With “cyber pink” and “cyber blue”, as well as combinations of the two, these colors are bright and very attention-grabbing compared to the more subdued colors typically found in Ortlieb’s products.

    Ortlieb Cyber Line Models

The Cyber Line currently consists of five of Ortlieb’s existing products done up in the fresh, bright pink and blue colorways. These include the popular Back-Roller pannier, Velocity Lite backpack, and the Micro-Bag saddle bag. The lineup also includes the new last-year Duffle Lite duffel bag, and the Velo-Sling convertible handlebar bag/shoulder sling that was launched earlier this year. All of the Cyber Line models are made with the same high-quality weatherproof materials, welded seams, and craftsmanship that Ortlieb’s products are known for.

The Back Roller Pannier is a 20-liter pannier that attaches to racks using Ortlieb’s Quick-Lock2.1 system. With a durable polyester fabric and a roll-top closure, it’s a waterproof companion made for commuting, touring, or daily use. Now available in visibility-enhancing Cyber Pink.

This courier-style waterproof backpack is made with a new PU-coated nylon fabric and a roll-top closure. The 23-liter storage capacity consists of a large open compartment with a laptop sleeve. Foam blocks on the back provide cushion and ventilation with ergonomic shoulder straps and a waist belt for comfort and stability. The front and back panels are Cyber Blue, while the sides are Cyber Pink. The Velocity Lite also comes in five more traditional colors, most of which are available in both 17L and 23L sizes.

It has 0.5L of storage with a roll top and elastic strap closure. The Cyber Pink version comes in the 0.5L size only, while the standard Black color is available in 0.5L and 0.8L sizes.

    Ortlieb Velo-Sling: $95

Launched earlier this year, the Velo-Sling is a compact handlebar bag with a flexible design that lets you convert it into an over-the-shoulder sling for use off the bike. The 3L bag has a single open compartment for your essentials, with a waterproof material and a roll-top sealing out moisture. Exterior lash straps can also be used to attach bulkier items to the outside. It attaches to any handlebar using stretchy rubber Voile-style straps and an adjustable elastic stem/head tube band for added stability. The Velo-Sling is predominantly Cyber Blue, with a hint of Cyber Pink on the sides. It is also available in Black and Dark Sand colors.

Last but not least is Ortlieb’s cavernous Duffle Lite bag. This duffel bag was new to the brand’s product lineup last year, and is a rugged, waterproof bag that can be carried like a duffel or a backpack. It offers 40L of storage in its large open compartment, along with a small, clip-in organizer sleeve and a zipper external side pocket. It closes with a sturdy waterproof zipper and plastic buckles to secure it at the ends. The main body is Cyber Pink with Cyber Blue on the ends. The Duffle Lite is also available in three standard colors, in both 40L and 60L volumes.

    Ortlieb Cyber Line: Availability

Ortlieb’s limited Cyber Line capsule collection is available now, but these bright colors won’t be around forever. Whether you’re a fan of bright pink, blue, or both, or you just want to enhance your visibility on the bike, now is the time. You can learn more about the Ortlieb Cyber Line models and purchase them directly through the brand’s website.
