Adams stressed during the November interview how “we’re more than wives and girlfriends of athletes.”

“I have a name, and if you got to know me, then you’d realize that I’m more than just a girlfriend,” Adams said, via People. “I love that they put a spin on that. I don’t like the ‘WAG’ title. Nothing against anybody who likes it. It’s cute that girls put their own twist on it. But to be given that title, I’m not a fan.”

Amon-Ra St. Brown’s GF Brooklyn Adams shared reality behind life as partner of NFL player

Brooklyn Adams reflected on her journey as Amon-Ra St. Brown‘s girlfriend during another segment of the interview. She noted that the lifestyle of NFL players’ partners was different from what most fans may have thought.

“I try to explain that the players are gone all the time,” Adams said. “Many people don’t understand that this can be a really lonely lifestyle. We do so much and put up with a lot, and yes, we know what we signed up for. In no way am I complaining, but we do so much more than what we’re credited for.”

Adams has also been embracing the role of the wide receiver’s stylist. The model recently dressed Brown for his latest collaboration with an NFL-inspired clothing brand.
