“Shut your mouth” – Anti-ICE protestors harass a News Nation reporter in Minneapolis after they hated her coverage of Renee Good’s shooting

A video of anti-ICE protestors harassing a News Nation reporter for her coverage of the fatal shooting of Renee Good recently went viral on social media. For those uninformed, Good, aged 37, was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis while allegedly attempting to flee from the authorities on January 7, 2026. Her death has sparked a nationwide protest against ICE, an acronym for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

On January 8, 2026, X account @TimcastNews posted a video of anti-ICE protestors in Minneapolis harassing a female New Nation reporter after they seemingly disliked her coverage of Renee Good’s death.

The reporter seen in the video has been identified as Ali Bradley, the Southwest Correspondent for News Nation Now. Bradley has uploaded clips of her reporting on the clash between protestors and law enforcement in the wake of Good’s death on her Instagram account.

In the viral X video, a woman can be seen having a heated discussion with Bradley, who is crouching on the ground in front of a camera. She can be heard telling the reporter to shut her mouth, saying:

“You’re just justifying… You’re a pretty girl that talks to the f**king camera, shut your mouth about anything else.”

Meanwhile, the person filming the video can be heard telling the reporter that she did not have any right to be there, accusing her of “spreading propaganda” and adding, “If I was your mother, I’d be so ashamed.” The reporter then appeared to tell the camera operator to pack up and move to another location, to which the person filming says, “Good idea.”

Renee Good was a self-described “poet and writer and wife and mom”

On January 7, 2026, the Department of Homeland Security’s official X account posted about Renee Good’s fatal shooting, accusing the woman of being one of the “violent rioters” who “weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism.”

The X post further claimed that the ICE agent who shot her, now identified as Jonathan Ross, fired at her because he was “fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public,” adding:

“Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism.”

“An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers.” the post continued.

Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism. An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers. The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. The ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries. This is the direct consequence of constant attacks and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement who are facing 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats. This is an evolving situation, and we will give the public more information as soon as it becomes available.

According to CBS News, Renee Good, aged 37, had recently moved to Minneapolis and lived with her partner a few blocks away from where she was killed. Good’s Instagram account described her as a “poet and writer and wife and mom.”

Renee Good was one of five children, with her mother, Donna Ganger, telling the Minnesota Star Tribune that she was “extremely compassionate,” “loving, forgiving, and affectionate.” Ganger further claimed that her daughter was not a “part of anything like that at all” when asked about her alleged involvement in the anti-ICE protests, calling her killing “so stupid.”

“Renee was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. She was extremely compassionate. She’s taken care of people all her life. She was loving, forgiving and affectionate. She was an amazing human being,” Ganger said.

Renee Good reportedly had three children from two previous marriages. She had dropped her six-year-old off at school and was driving home with her partner just before her fatal shooting.

According to News Nation, federal authorities claimed that the ICE agent who shot Renee Good acted in self-defense, and President Donald Trump suggested that Good was a “professional agitator” in his Truth Social post about the incident. He further accused her of being a “very disorderly, obstructing and resisting” person who “violently, willfully and viciously” ran over the ICE officer.

However, Minneapolis’ Mayor Jacob Frey dismissed the Department of Homeland Security’s claims and called them “bulls**t.” He further claimed that the DHS was attempting to “spin” the narrative as self-defense during a press conference after the incident, calling it a “garbage narrative.” Frey also told ICE agents to “get the f**k out of Minneapolis,” adding:

“To ICE, get the f**k out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here. Your stated reason for being in this city is to create some kind of safety, and you are doing exactly the opposite. People are being hurt, families are being ripped apart, longtime Minneapolis residents who have contributed so greatly are being terrorized, and now someone is dead. That’s on you, and it’s also on you to leave.”
