Major WWE Superstar no-shows live event

It has been an interesting week in WWE, with Drew McIntyre becoming the new Undisputed Champion, whilst new Women’s Tag Team Champions were crowned, and a new Women’s Intercontinental Champion is on the board.

That being said, it was revealed on SmackDown that Charlotte Flair was “under the weather,” which was the reasoning for her absence. The former Women’s Champion left Alexa Bliss to battle on her own as she lost to Giulia before being attacked by both Lash Legend and Nia Jax.

It seems that Flair was expected to be in Alexa Bliss’s corner for her match last night in Glasgow, but The Queen was nowhere to be seen. Flair was advertised for the show, and there was no announcement mentioning that she would be missing, so fans are waiting for an official update.

Is this the end for Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair as a team on WWE SmackDown?

This could be an angle being pushed forward by WWE, or Flair could actually be ill and may not have made the trip to Glasgow because of an illness.

That being said, it wouldn’t be far to assume that Bliss will be annoyed because she was left alone to essentially fight off four other women. There’s also the live event matches that she has had to wrestle alone, and whilst she was able to defeat Kairi Sane, she was on her own with Asuka in attendance.

The two women have worked well together over the past year, but it seems that they could be coming to the end of their alliance with new Women’s Tag Team Champions in the form of Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. If they are unable to dethrone their former friends, it could lead to a lack of direction for them as a duo with the Royal Rumble around the corner.
