“He had trouble getting in and out of the ring” – Top WWE name makes shocking revelation about Hall of Famer

A top WWE name has given his honest thoughts about a Hall of Famer. He also revealed a surprising fact about this legend.

Andre the Giant will forever be remembered as one of the greatest giants to ever grace the WWE ring. He was part of many iconic moments in the WWE. There are also many incredible stories around Andre from his time in the sports entertainment juggernaut. Now, Bruce Prichard has revealed something shocking about the WWE legend.

Speaking on his Something to Wrestle podcast, Bruce Prichard said that Andre the Giant was an incredible worker during his early career who wasn’t afraid to put over other wrestlers. However, he wasn’t the same during his later career and even had trouble getting in and out of the ring.

“Andre was a great worker. In his later years, he was not. In his early years, he was a great worker. Andre did things with guys and was very giving and worked his a** off and was just constantly doing things and worked all over the world. And Andre was a great worker because at his size, he could’ve just gone in and been the giant attraction and, ‘Roar, I will kill you.’ But he didn’t. He went in and worked with guys. He sold, he bumped, he let guys slam him, he let guys suplex him. He bumped his a** off and really was a hell of a worker.”

He further added that Andre wasn’t the same during his later career and even had trouble getting in and out of the ring.

“So, when you hear the thing, ‘Oh,’ people just again for some people who only saw the 1987 on Andre the Giant weren’t exposed to the early Andre. Yeah, he wasn’t….he couldn’t do s**t. He couldn’t do anything in the later years. He had trouble getting in and out of the ring, much less taking a bump. But you go back and watch early Andre s**t, you will be amazed because he did a lot of things, man. And he put a lot of people over and made guys just being in the ring with him. So, he was a magnificant, magnificent worker.”

Top WWE name Bruce Prichard addressed his rumored backstage issues with Triple H

It’s been a few years since Triple H took over the creative reins of the WWE from Vince McMahon. Bruce Prichard has served as his right-hand man. However, there have been rumors that all is not well between the duo.

Speaking on his Something to Wrestle podcast, Bruce Prichard addressed these rumors, confirming that he has no issues with The Game.

“I have nothing to hate him for. And in all the times we worked together prior to coming back — and look, I can’t speak for him, I don’t know — but I do know how he treated me. He always treated me well. So he was a top talent, and obviously married in, but if he had married Betty down the street, he’d still be in the same position he is in today because he still has those qualifications,” he said.
