Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is excited to witness the faceoff between Josh Allen and Bo Nix on Sunday. The Denver Broncos take on the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs. This will be a rematch of last season’s playoff game, when Sean McDermott’s team had secured a dominating 37-1 victory in the wild-card round.
On Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast, the three-time Super Bowl champion drew a parallel between Bo Nix and Josh Allen, stating that they have similar skillsets and play styles. Kelce also said that this is an opportunity for the Broncos quarterback to establish himself as one of the greats in his second year in the league.
Thanks for the submission!
“I’m f*****g pumped on this Bills and Broncos game,” Kelce said (Timestamp-37:10). “I’m so pumped that it’s the first one we get to f*****g see. It’s CBS on Saturday. Josh and Bo Nix kind of play the game similar, in my eyes.

“Obviously, two completely different athletes. Bo is every bit of exciting, esxpecially in his early years. because he still hasn’t reached that pinnacle year. And this is an opportunity where he can kind of start to cement his name among the best quarterbacks in the league. I’m excited to see that matchup.”

This season, Bo Nix helped the Broncos secure the AFC West title for the first time in 10 years, finishing the regular season with a 14-3 record. In 17 games, the quarterback tallied 3,931 yards and 25 TDs passing, along with 356 yards and five TDs rushing.
On the other hand, Josh Allen is still looking for his first Super Bowl appearance with the Bills despite seven postseason runs. During the 2024 season, they lost to the Chiefs in the AFC championship game. This season, they finished second in the AFC East and clinched a comeback victory over the Jaguars in the wild-card round last Sunday.
Bo Nix has high praise for Josh Allen ahead of divisional playoff showdown
During Tuesday’s presser, Bo Nix did not hesitate when expressing his respect for Josh Allen. He heaped praise on the Bills quarterback’s talent while talking about his ability to turn the game around.
Nix labeled Allen as a “generational talent,” while looking forward to Saturday’s showdown.
“He’s incredible,” Nix said (Timestamp-3:25). “He’s the MVP for a pretty good reason. He continues to make play after play when sort of the game’s not looking like he can make the play. He just goes out there and does superhero stuff. I think one of the things that separates him is just his toughness, his ability to go play after play at his maximum velocities, his peak performance.
“He’s just a kind of a generational talent. You don’t see that all the time, guys as big as defensive linemen just being able to be as athletic as skill players. It’s not normal.”
Can Nix helpthe Broncos win their first Lombardi Trophy since emerging victorious in Super Bowl 50?
