Thanks for the submission!
#3. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY’s partnership could fall apart
Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY are the current Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, The Eradicator might surprise The Genius of the Sky in the Women’s Royal Rumble match by betraying her.
It is every person for himself in a Royal Rumble Match. Hence, Ripley might eliminate her tag team partner if both of them remain in the ring at the end of the showdown.
In the past, many wrestlers have turned their backs on their allies and tag team partners by throwing them over the top rope in the Royal Rumble Match. Hence, Mami might follow a similar path and betray IYO SKY in Riyadh.
#2. Asuka might betray Kairi Sane
Over the past few weeks, WWE has teased tension between Asuka and Kairi Sane. The Empress of Tomorrow has humiliated Sane on multiple occasions, manipulating her into doing things.
In the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, Asuka might betray Kairi Sane by eliminating her from the match. As of this writing, only the former Women’s Champion has declared herself for the bout. However, The Pirate Princess might enter the match unannounced and surprise the legend. This might not sit well with Asuka and lead to Sane’s elimination.
#1. Alexa Bliss might eliminate Charlotte Flair from the WWE Women’s Rumble Match
During the go-home episode of WWE SmackDown before Royal Rumble, WWE teased the breakup of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. The Goddess hinted at possibly eliminating The Queen from the Women’s Royal Rumble match, if needed. However, the popular tag team was soon interrupted by The Judgment Day.
This wasn’t the first time that the Stamford-based promotion teased the end of Bliss and Flair’s alliance. The company might finally pull the trigger by booking Little Miss Bliss to eliminate Charlotte Flair from the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
A potential betrayal could also set the stage for a heated feud and a singles match between the two WWE megastars at WrestleMania 42.
