The batting coach for Team India Sitanshu Kotak explained that Sanju Samson currently experiences a difficult time which every cricketer must face during their professional journey.

He is a senior player who maintains excellent skills according to Sanju who needs to improve his performance since his current run total fails to meet expectations. “He needs to learn to handle the times when he experiences difficulties after achieving success. Sanju demonstrates his ability through his dedicated practice efforts which reveal his complete potential. “Kotak said that Sanju’s performance needs no further explanation because he has performed exceptionally well.

The batting coach explained that the current five-match T20I series provides valuable experience for the “Men in Blue” because the T20 World Cup approaches.

All that you can do when we are playing. The five matches and the South Africa series which we played before this match will help our team development according to him.

The “Men in Blue” have already sealed the series by taking a lead of 3-1 against the “Black Caps”. After the series ends both teams will participate in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 which India and Sri Lanka will jointly host.
