Women’s Soccer Couples that are Making Us Tear Up This Valentine’s Day

In the world of women’s soccer, there are tons of couples and families that make fans smile. Some fans may even shed a tear or two due to the overload of cuteness the couples show off! Here we will highlight some of the couples that keep followers happy and hopeful during this Valentine’s Day season.

    Sam Kerr and Kristie Mewis

Recently tying the knot, these two are glowing! Sam Kerr and Kristie Mewis have been together for many years now and continue to grow as a couple. Not only have they tied the knot, but they have also added to their family their son, baby Jagger. These two are truly inspirational and show that anything is possible on and off the field.

    Sophia and Mike Wilson

Sophia and Mike Wilson have grown together for quite some time now, ever since meeting during their college days in Stanford. Soccer fans know about Sophia’s skill and impact, but Mike’s is just as impressive when he hits the football field for the Arizona Cardinals. The couple recently married in 2025 and also had their first baby girl, Gianna. The Wilson family is beautiful, and we love to see them happy!

    Trinity Rodman and Ben Shelton

About a year ago, Shelton and Rodman made their relationship public. Since then, the two have been seen supporting each other, showing up to games and even facilitating fun post-game interviews. Two elite stars, like Rodman and Shelton, were destined to align with one another, and now fans cannot wait to see more of them online, at the soccer field, or at a tennis match!

    Mallory and Dansby Swanson

This powerhouse couple continues to share their growth and light with all of their fans. Both Mal and Dansby represent clubs from Chicago, which is pretty neat. They have been married since 2022 and recently had their baby girl, Josie, in late 2025. Mal’s comeback to the pitch is heavily anticipated, and Dansby is surely gearing up for his next season with the Cubs.

    Christen Press and Tobin Heath

Preath has been alive and well for a few years now. Press recently shared a throwback showing the two’s relationship stemming back to 2016. Did you scream of happiness when she posted that to Instagram? Well, Believers sure did, and we cannot wait to see what the two iconic soccer legends share with their fans come Valentine’s Day! Keep up with two on their podcast, “The Re-Cap Show,” for the latest.

    Alex Morgan and Servando Carrasco

Longtime sweethearts, Alex and Servando, have been united through life for many years now. The impact Morgan has had on both women’s soccer and women’s sports as a whole is unlike any other. Servando has supported her throughout, even during his MLS days. The two have a daughter, Charlie, and a son, Enzo. We can’t wait to see what more is in store for them!

    Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird

Rapinoe and Bird have had a connection since the 2016 Rio Olympics. The two have developed a wonderful relationship, even during their illustrious careers. Bird is a legendary UConn and WNBA player, similar to how Rapinoe is legendary in the women’s soccer world with 2 World Cups under her belt. The two co-host the podcast called “A Touch More” and fans can keep up with their work and incredible advocacy there.

    Lauren and Jrue Holiday

UCLA lovebirds, Lauren and Jrue Holiday, are goals for many reasons. Since 2008, the two have grown together. From Jrue’s intelligent and determined playstyle on the basketball court, to Lauren’s control in the midfield, the two are known for their phenomenal athleticism and successful careers. Despite the scare of Lauren’s benign brain tumor during her first pregnancy in 2016, Jrue stood by her side and to this day continues to be an amazing husband. The two are involved in various forms of advocacy and recently joined the ownership group for the North Carolina Courage in 2025. The Holiday’s are beautiful, inspiring, and simply adorned by many across the sports world.
