WWE expected to add massive match to WrestleMania 42 card – Reports

WWE is reportedly expected to add a massive match to its WrestleMania 42 lineup. The Show of Shows will emanate from Las Vegas for a second year running on April 18 and 19.

Fans can expect a slew of big names to compete at the event in marquee matches, with the Triple H-led creative team aiming to top last year’s show. As such, the speculation is rife over which matches would make the final card.

Now, according to a report from WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, WWE could add one standout match for its biggest show of the year. During a Q&A session, it was mentioned that an El Grande Americano vs. El Grande Americano match is something the promotion eyes as a money-making bout.

The report adds that it is expected to make the final card and is a “surefire WrestleMania match.” Currently, Ludwig Kaiser portrays El Grande, while Chad Gable is dubbed the Original El Grande Americano.

In Gable’s absence due to injury, Kaiser has started a faction that includes Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano. The storyline saw a twist when Gable returned as the Original El Grande at Royal Rumble and eliminated Kaiser.

El Grande Americano has begun feuding with Los Americanos since WWE return

After Royal Rumble, Chad Gable cost Ludwig Kaiser his match against Je’Von Evans on RAW. This week on RAW, Gable, as the Original El Grande Americano, teamed up with Evans to take on Rayo and Bravo Americano. He ended up getting the win for this team, but was attacked by El Grande Americano.

He tried to take the Original’s mask, but the Original fought him off. The Original also managed to rip El Grande’s mask, but Rayo Americano pulled him, making the save.

If WWE is indeed planning on turning this feud into a WrestleMania match, it could lead to a fascinating encounter.
