Happy 28th birthday to three-time Pro Bowler, one-time All-Pro selection and 2022 rushing champion, Josh Jacobs!
The Raiders selected Jacobs with the 24th-overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Alabama, and he immediately rewarded them with his first of three 1,000-yard seasons in Silver and Black. In the Raiders first season in Las Vegas he made his first Pro Bowl by racking up 1,065 yards and 12 touchdowns, and in 2022 his 1,653 yards were the most in the NFL.
After the 2023 season, Jacobs entered free agency and signed a four-year, $48 million contract with the Green Bay Packers. In his two seasons with Green Bay, he’s been a workhorse, toting the rock 535 times for 2,258 yards and 28 touchdowns.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the players to lead the NFL in rushing yards since the 2000 season can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
