    Ex-Miami star Haley Cavinder shares romantic tribute for fiancé Jake Ferguson on Valentine’s Day

    Former Miami basketball player Haley Cavinder shared a romantic Valentine’s Day tribute for her fiancé, Jake Ferguson, on Saturday. Cavinder shared a TikTok video in which she flaunted a bouquet of roses that she received from Ferguson before embracing the Dallas Cowboys tight end.

    In the video, Cavinder also shared that she plans to marry Ferguson this year.

    “Marrying my forever Valentine this year,” Cavinder wrote on the video.

    According to reports, Cavinder and Ferguson began dating in September 2023.

    During a YouTube Q&A in January 2024, Cavinder explained why she often shares details about her relationship with Ferguson on social media.

    “Honestly, I’m very confident and comfortable with sharing my relationship because Jake was very loud about it,” Cavinder said.

    Ferguson and Cavinder got engaged in April 2025.

    Ferguson was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round in 2022. He has earned two Pro Bowl honors in four years with them so far.

    In July 2025, Ferguson signed a four-year, $52 million contract extension with the Cowboys.

    Haley Cavinder played five years of college basketball

    Haley Cavinder began her college basketball career at Fresno State in 2019. She played with the Bulldogs for three seasons.

    In 2022, Cavinder transferred to Miami. After her first year with the Hurricanes, she announced her retirement from the sport.

    In October 2023, Cavinder came out of retirement and transferred to TCU. However, in April 2024, she de-committed from TCU to return to Miami for one last season.

    Cavinder announced her retirement for the second time in March 2025. After her baskeball career, she has focused on building her life as an entrepreneur and content creator.
