The Jacksonville-based wrestling promotion founded by Tony Khan, AEW, is preparing to produce its first pay-per-view of the year, Revolution. The show is scheduled for Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
The company is coming off a special event, Grand Slam Australia, which has begun the road towards the 2026 Revolution pay-per-view. From a huge World title set in stone to a blockbuster return that can happen at the show, here are five early predictions for the Revolution 2026 event.
#5. A rematch with high stakes from the upcoming AEW Dynamite episode
A top showdown between Swerve Strickland and Kenny Omega is set to take place on the upcoming February 18 episode of Dynamite. The feud came about following weeks of tension over contention for the AEW World Championship. A scenario could see a similar scene from last week, where Omega and Strickland brawl all over the arena with no decisive winner. Tony Khan could schedule a rematch between the two top stars at the 2026 Revolution pay-per-view, with the winner earning the opportunity to challenge the World Champion next.
#4. Dakota Kai debuts
Dakota Kai had been away from wrestling ever since she got released by WWE for the second time in 2025. Now going by the name Charlie, she is set to return to the ring to square off against Kris Statlander at Pro-Wrestling: EVE’s event Wrestle Queendom VIII on 8 March 2026. As current AEW star Will Ospreay convinced her to return for the event, Kai could next show up in All Elite Wrestling by making a shocking debut at the Revolution event and begin a new chapter in her wrestling career.
#3. The IInspiration becomes new tag team champions
At the recent AEW House Rules event in Brisbane, Australia, The IInspiration made their debut and announced that they had officially signed with the promotion. The first step in their All Elite run could be to make a huge impact at the expense of the reigning AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, Babes of Wrath. This could see Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay dethrone Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron and become the new tag team titleholders at the 2026 Revolution event.
#2. Britt Baker returns
Britt Baker has been absent from AEW television since November 2024. Despite her extended hiatus, Tony Khan confirmed that she remains part of the company. Therefore, the wait to see The D.M.D. could finally be over, with Khan choosing to bring her back at the Revolution 2026 event and shake the foundation of the women’s division in a major way.
#1. MJF retains his title
Hangman Adam Page defeated Andrade El Idolo in a hard-fought battle at the Grand Slam Australia and earned the right to challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship. The match has been made official for the 2026 Revolution pay-per-view, setting the stage for a rematch from last year’s event, which Page won. However, this time the outcome could be different, with MJF using underhanded tactics to defeat The Hangman and retain his title.
