Paul Heyman claims he wishes he was at the birth of current WWE star

Paul Heyman shared that he wished he was at the birth of a current WWE star. Heyman was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2024 during WrestleMania XL weekend.

The Oracle is a member of The Vision on WWE RAW alongside Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul. In an interview with IGN, Paul Heyman stated that he wished he were at the birth of Bron Breakker. He explained that the wrestling world changed the moment he was born, and he wished he were there to see it.

“I wish I was there for the birth of Bron Breakker, because at that moment this industry changed, and the industry just didn’t know yet,” said Heyman. [H/T: WrestleTalk on X]

Bron Breakker competed in the Men’s Royal Rumble match but was attacked by a masked man during his entrance. The former Intercontinental Champion has since undergone hernia surgery, and it is unknown when he will be cleared to return to action.

Paul Heyman praises WWE RAW star CM Punk

Wrestling legend Paul Heyman recently suggested that CM Punk does not get enough credit for his authenticity.

Speaking with SHAK Wrestling, Paul Heyman stated that there were not too many differences between the person Phil Brooks and his CM Punk persona. The legend noted that Punk spoke from the heart and meant what he said on WWE television.

“His authenticity. [Why?] Because we all know his given name is Phil Brooks, and we all identify him as CM Punk, because when he’s out in the ring, the two merge, and I say that because he doesn’t speak from the perspective of a certain persona. He speaks from the heart. He means what he says, and he says what he means. And that’s whether he is as Phil Brooks or as CM Punk. It’s not even a blurred line. It’s an open border. And the two cross into each other all the time freely,” he said.

Only time will tell if Bron Breakker will be able to return in time for WWE WrestleMania 42 later this year.
