Saraya has been exploring life outside wrestling for a while. Amid that, she welcomed a new member to her family.
The former WWE Divas Champion last wrestled for Tony Khan’s AEW promotion. Her stint ended last year, after which she took a break from in-ring competition and focused on other projects, including her RuleBreakers podcast, acting, and public appearances. However, she later resumed training, aiming for a wrestling return this year.
Lately, there have been rumors that Saraya would make her return to WWE. Many had expected it to happen at the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, but it did not happen. Amid everything going on in her life, the Anti-Diva decided to make a beautiful addition to her family, taking to her Instagram to announce that she had adopted a dog after seeing WWE legend Batista’s social media reposting images of dogs in California.
“So I was on social media yesterday, and I saw a bunch of dogs that Batista was reposting here in California and there was this one dog that I was absolute in s*cker for, and he was going to be euthanized today in an hour actually and I managed to get him in time.”
Saraya issues statement on her future
In an interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Saraya revealed that she had lost her passion for wrestling, which is why she stepped away. However, after returning to training, the former WWE star was in great shape and even made a reference to her WWE days.
“I’m just trying to get my lick back. I missed wrestling. I lost my passion for it for a second. I told people months ago I was getting back in the ring in January and I did just that and I’m having such a great time. I said if I was to ever come back to wrestling, I’ll be better than I was before. NXT Paige.” [0:45-1:01]
With rumors swirling, it remains to be seen if the former Paige would return to WWE this year.
