Since the conclusion of the Kansas City Chiefs‘ season, Taylor Swift has maintained a noticeably low public profile. While her fianc, Travis Kelce, made appearances at multiple Super Bowl LX events in San Francisco and participated in golf tournaments, the global pop icon stayed largely out of sight.
While Swift has stepped back from the spotlight socially, her professional momentum has not slowed.
On February 18, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, which represents the global recorded music industry, named her the biggest-selling global artist of 2025.
The achievement marks the sixth time Swift has earned the distinction and the fourth consecutive year she has topped the IFPI‘s ranking, a testament to the sustained commercial power of her latest album, “The Life of Showgirl.”

That absence, however, has not signaled distance between the couple. According to DeuxMoi, the pair recently visited the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana – a private retreat they are said to favor.
The luxury resort has even surfaced in speculation as a potential wedding venue for their upcoming nuptials, which are set to take place later this year.
Amid that success, attention has turned toward what could be the couple’s next major joint appearance.
Taylor Swift’s ‘fishy’ trip to Manchester
Per The Sun, Swift arrived in the United Kingdom on Wednesday with “an enormous entourage of more than 20 people” this week, fueling speculation about a potential appearance at the Brit Awards on February 28, 2026.
“Taylor is hiding out in London at the moment and is scheduled to visit Manchester, which seems like she could be lined up for a surprise appearance at the Brit Awards,” a source told the outlet.
“Taylor was handed the Global Icon Award at the ceremony back in 2021 and has a huge amount of respect for the Brits. She loves it.”
If Swift does attend, it would mark a significant moment, potentially the first major red-carpet appearance for the engaged couple since Kelce proposed.
“Brits bosses are trying to keep everything under lock and key, but it feels too much like a coincidence that Taylor is secretly in the UK at the exact time of the Brits,” the source added.
“The fact her team are all heading home the Monday after the ceremony is fishy. Manchester is an amazing city, but Taylor wouldn’t just be coming to look at the cathedral and the Etihad, would she?”
Swift is nominated for International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for The Fate of Ophelia, making her presence at the ceremony even more plausible.
However, it’s not known if Kelce will be making the trip with her yet. Still, with the NFL season finishing weeks ago, there is nothing to suggest it won’t happen either.
Kelce gets involved in new Swift track
Meanwhile, her personal and professional worlds have continued to intersect. She recently released a remix of her hit single Opalite, inspired by her relationship with Kelce.
The 11-time Pro Bowler actually collaborated with DJ Chris Lake on the remix, which quickly climbed to No. 1 on iTunes.
In a rare public acknowledgment, Swift credited her fianc as her “in-house house guy.”
Kelce celebrated the success enthusiastically, commenting: “Immediately to the top of the charts!! bout to tune into the studio session right now!”
Swift responded, “These videos make me as happy as your remix does – so excited the fans are loving it too!! Appreciate you!!”
Whether the couple steps onto the Brit Awards carpet together remains unconfirmed. But with Swift already in the UK and nominations on the line, the stage appears set for a high-profile reunion.
