The End dimension in Minecraft is a severely underdeveloped region in the blocky world. While it is the place players go toward the “end” of the game to defeat the Ender Dragon, apart from the Elytra and the Shulker, there is nothing really interesting in this void. In other words, out of the three dimensions, the most mysterious and final one is quite lacking.
There are many ways to improve the situation, and it will require a lot of effort. Players have given many suggestions, such as adding more structures, biomes, and mobs to the End. A Minecraft player, u/Nondescript_Potato, made a post on the game’s subreddit suggesting two potential mobs for this desolate dimension. It included a squid mob that would float in space, which they named the Choral Squid.
The other mob was a slime block variant that does not jump but rolls to move around. When it attacks a player, it will give a “sludged” effect that prevents teleportation, decreases jump height, and also disables Elytra. The Choral Squid would drop Choral Jelly, which can be turned into jelly balls that work similarly to chorus fruit.
u/TheKrakenUnleashed agreed with the idea and said that the developers could also add another dragon as well. While the Ender Dragon is already there, a new dragon variant would be a great idea, and considering that Mojang Studios has introduced several new mob variants recently, it would fit perfectly with the theme of previous updates.

u/iPoopLegos said that the Choral Squid design was cute but warned that the Ender slime has the potential to be the next Phantom. For those who do not know, the Phantom is a flying mob that appears when a player has not slept for three days in row, and many players consider it to be the most annoying mob in the game.
u/ackyou said they like the Erebos Sludge mob idea and would call it the Ender Slime. They added that the power to disable Elytra is terrifying. More hostile mobs in the End would certainly make things even more challenging.
The End in Minecraft needs a lot of work

Minecraft players have been constantly pointing out how the End dimension is the most lacking region in the game. Through various updates, the developers improved the Overworld and the Nether significantly, and fans are expecting the same treatment for the void dimension. However, the task will be quite challenging.
Since there is frankly very little of interest in the End right now, Mojang Studios would have to work hard to completely revamp the entire area with more mobs, biomes, and other features. While it is a big task, it is certainly not impossible, as they have already done the same for the Nether.
