WWE star Giulia has competed in the ring worldwide. A current AEW star, whom she has wrestled before, brought back memories of “decapitating” her by reacting to a clip of their past in-ring encounter.
The aforementioned star, who is a rising star in the AEW women’s division, is Megan Bayne. Both she and Giulia made a name for themselves wrestling on the independent circuit. Following that, The Megasaurus signed with All Elite Wrestling last year, while Giulia joined WWE in 2024 and is on the rise to become a major star on SmackDown, currently holding the Women’s United States title in her second reign.
The duo once squared off in a one-on-one showdown at a STARDOM event a few years ago, which has been regarded as a highly compelling in-ring match. A fan uploaded a clip from the bout, where Bayne took down The Beautiful Madness with a smashing move. The fan called it the time when she decapitated the WWE star. Bayne noticed and chose to respond via her X account.
“let the heads roll 👹.”
WWE legend once called AEW star Megan Bayne “green”
When Megan Bayne began in AEW last year, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray called her green, despite her extensive experience on the independent circuit. He justified the statement by quoting his own example when he started in the big leagues.
“Listen, Megan Bayne is still green, okay?” Bully said. “I don’t give a s**t how long she’s been working, since the first day she’s been in a wrestling school. This is her first real exposure on a major wrestling company. And at one point in another, we were all still green, no matter how long we had been wrestling. I had been in the business for six years before I stepped foot on ECW television. I was green as grass, because my experience in the business wasn’t that much.” [H/T: WrestlingInc.]
However, Bayne has come a long way since her start in AEW and is slowly becoming one of the dominant forces in their landscape. So it remains to be seen what the future holds for The Megasaurus.
