Brock Lesnar is ready to compete at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, but he doesn’t have an opponent yet.
After throwing down the gauntlet on Monday Night RAW last night, fans have been wondering who will step up to the Beast Incarnate on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Thanks for the submission!
The search for his WrestleMania 42 ends here, as a 61-year-old former WWE Superstar has answered the challenge.
During the go-home edition of RAW before Elimination Chamber, Brock Lesnar returned with his advocate, Paul Heyman, to issue an open challenge for the Show of Shows in Las Vegas.
Rumor has it that a match between LA Knight and Brock Lesnar has been in the works, and why not? The Megastar played a key role in the Beast’s early elimination from the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.
Another name thrown into the hat is Oba Femi. The Ruler exchanged blows with the Beast Incarnate before being eliminated by him at the Royal Rumble.
As in the words of Paul Heyman, “I don’t think anyone is going to answer Brock Lesnar’s Open Challenge for WrestleMania.” The Oracle was right about the WWE locker room, at least for the time being.
Interestingly, former WCW star Big Vito has taken to his X/Twitter to respond to the Beast’s WrestleMania 42 challenge, saying:
“Here it goes . Open Challenge ? Representing the Luciano Family and all of @jcwlunacy I Challenge @BrockLesnar with his Advocate @HeymanHustle at Wrestlemania. @WWE you listening. You think your the Best Heel in this Business , Think again. Open the door Brock.”
You can check out his tweet below:
Big Vito has had two separate stints with WWE, but he hasn’t wrestled under the sports entertainment juggernaut since 2007. Vito LoGrasso, at 61, is still active to this day, though he briefly retired from in-ring competition to take care of his wife.
He is currently signed to Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) under the leadership of former WWE head writer Vince Russo.
As exciting as this matchup seems on paper, there’s no word yet on Big Vito making a potential return to the Stamford-based promotion anytime soon.
A current WWE RAW Superstar wants to retire Brock Lesnar
Speaking on The Morning Shift, Gunther entertained the thought of retiring the Beast Incarnate next.
“That’s a good one, right? We’ll see. I think there are a bunch of examples of people who overstay their welcome, who just hang on a little bit too much, who chase one moment too much. It seems like there is a big amount of people to choose from.”
The WWE Universe has been clamoring for a dream match between the two men since the 2023 Royal Rumble. Will the Career Killer rise to the occasion and send the Beast packing? Only time will tell.
